Tamworth Historical Society is again presenting two events during 2024 Tamworth Regional Heritage Festival.
The first is a look behind the scenes on Saturday 20 April at 10am.
See our collection of antique clothing and find out what happens in the library, collections room and archive.
Bookings are essential for this event as there is only one session. Please contact Melinda Gill on telephone 04o7 789 894.
This is a free event although donations will be appreciated.
Our second event is a walk along Marius Street with THS life member, Rod Hobbs, who will entertain you with stories about the people, their activities and the buildings they inhabited.
Meet on the corner of White and Peel Street at 9am on Sunday 28 April. From there you will go up White Street and walk along Marius Street. There will be a morning tea in Railway Park (gold coin donation appreciated), with the walk continuing along to Darling Street.
If the weather is looking a little dubious on the day, please check our social media page for updates.
No bookings are necessary.
